PP Small Clause with Sentential Subject, and Adv and Prep anchors: Ts0ARBPnx1

Description:
This tree family is selected by multi-word prepositions that take sentential subjects. In particular, this family is selected by two-word prepositions, where the first word is an adverb, the second word a preposition. Both components of the multi-word preposition are anchors. The sentential subject can be indicative or infinitive. Small clauses are explained in much greater detail in section 9.3. 2 prepositions select this tree family.
Examples:
due to, contrary to
that David slept until noon is due to the fact that he never sleeps during the week .
that Michael's joke was funny is contrary to the usual status of his comic attempts .
