Before grad school, I did my undergraduate degree here at Penn where I worked with Milo Martin, Steve Zdancewic, E. Lewis and Colin Blundell on transactional memory and architectural support for security. In my copious free time, I enjoy bicycle commuting, kayaking, and dreaming about getting an Oculus Rift.

Code

I love to write code. I try to blog about as many of my coding projects as I can; here are some I've worked on previously:

• This website is built using the Hakyll static site generator and the Twitter Bootstrap layout framework. Now, for the first time, my website actually looks decent on phones and tablets!
• A Python script to upload emails from Thunderbird to a hosted Gmail account, preserving Thunderbird's tags on messages as Gmail labels.
• A presentation on DMP given at ASPLOS 2009, written using a combination of Powerpoint and Flash.
