Welcome Fall 2015 Students! Look out for some more
announcements and your first homework assignment in the next
few days. In the meantime, here is a little useful
information about enrollment and recitations:
Recitations:
You will receive an e-mail later this week about
recitation sign-ups. We do not use PennInTouch for this,
and we have not yet opened our system.
There will be no recitation the week of August
31. There will be lots of office and lab hours for
you to ask questions and get help setting things up.
Recitation will be optional the week of
September 7 because many recitations fall on Labor Day.
We will make an announcement about this later.
Enrollment and Waitlist Info:
As of today, the 12:00 section of CIS 110 (CIS 110001)
is full. The 1:00 section of CIS 110 (CIS 110002)
is not full. This situation may change rapidly as
students adjust their course schedules.
We are not currently maintaining a waitlist for CIS
110. If you want to sign up for a section that is full,
you should check back regularly on PennInTouch to see if a
spot opens up. (A waitlist adds extra layers of
bureaucracy that would make your life even more difficult
than checking regularly on PennInTouch.)
We are not issuing permits for full lecture
sections.
