WICS High School Day for Girls
The University of Pennsylvania Women in Computer Science (WICS) student organization aims to foster a community for the women in tech at Penn – including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Biology, Digital Media Design and Networked and Social Systems Engineering. Our purpose is to support and promote women in CS by encouraging discussion and raising awareness regarding issues surrounding women in computer science.
Each year, the CIS Department and WICS host a day for girls in high school who are interested in computer science and engineering to show students what computer scientists and engineers do, and to encourage them to study these subjects in college.
This event is FREE, includes snacks and lunch, and will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020.
THIS YEAR’S WICS HIGH SCHOOL DAY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Registration for WICS High School Day for Girls is closed.
